Abstract	The article focuses on the procedure according to which a prosecutor may determine the grounds for representation of the interests of the State in court. It also details on why it is necessary to provide an appropriate rationale of the grounds for a prosecutor’s representation of the State interests as a cornerstone of efficient protection of such interests in court.
